Title: About River Mzha campaign Post by: moetdom on March 15, 2010, 01:18:08 AM I tried and I tried, but can not make any victorious battle during this River Mzha campaign. Fighting means being beaten by numerous motorized Germans. Retreating means to get units surrounded.

But I understand now that this little campaign of 5 turns is a very defensive one. Site ambush on reverse slope of main route, back of woods or bottle necks. Use terrain analysis, use hold fire to make sure inf dont fire too soon and spring the ambush. Consider weapon range and arcs and checl LOS.
Dont worry too much about terrain objectives. 1st priority is to destroy the enemy. |
