I read the Pantherfibel. The exaggerated and sometimes heavy8handed humour aside I was struck that amongst the targets or  enemy armour the Panther would have to face the 2 most dangerous; the T34/85 and JS-2 are absent????On the other hand the KV1, who by mid 1944 would be fielded in limited numbers, and KV85 which was not produced beyond 400 units and whose production had been stopped since October 1943 figured prominently???? It makes me wonder if they were not trying to hide the real perils that the Panthermaenner would be facing on the East front??
