Bridges aren't 'small objects' anymore.  Smiley

Neither are railways tracks Grin

Yes Norm, the bridges are destructible. You can take htme out with HE shells or the sheer weight of some tanks will make them crash.

Well, you see, the railway tracks can be made of many identical pieces, each piece being a small object  Smiley

which tanks are heavy enough? I've never had this happen to me. Was it in the default game, or added in a patch or mod?

I took a Jagtiger across the wooden bridge without a problem.
Unless something's really screwed up with the configuration, the bridges should hold up nicely.

So no one have tested the rails? Cheesy

Few people have the know-how to edit maps. Fewer people know about configuring new objects.
Out of this small subset, even fewer have the time to dig through all this,  Smiley

Yes one Jagdtiger at a time is fine but I was talking about a column of tanks and apcs. Usually ends in chaos wit the bridge collpasing and all vehciles tipping over into the water etc....

How do you remove trees and bushes in the editor? I need to clean some areas to test out new things Cheesy

If you have the source files to the map, the 'flora_p' and 'flora_quant' parameters in the *.poly file need to be set to zero. Then you have to regenerate the map.

For the stock maps, you're out of luck, I guess.

Why don't you use the 'desert mod' maps? No trees to speak of,

The desert mod maps have no trees and shrubs, just occasional patches of dried grass.

I seem to recall now, there's a way of clearing vegetation in maps,

You'll have to define a contour and select some type of terrain like 'plowed fields'. Of course, you still need the source files to accomplish this. Remember to regenerate!

This model is made by NSU and he has kindly donated it for use in Steel Fury. This model was made for MMP7 a T34 vs Tiger mod that we all worked on. Donken has kindly be patient enough to show me the basics of how to get objects in the OE.

Full credit to NSU for this model and a big thank you.
