Setting up mission where I ambush a column of tanks passing by on road....can I make the enemy tanks stick to the road until attacked? Right now they go right for the script area, right through dense forest, etc., and not in column...

Yes you can. In the script put them in column formation and add "on the road" as movement .

And 2 or more in the Barbarossa campaign.

One thing i forget to mention is that it's a good idea to place a closed start and end contour on the road.

Hi! By any chance, would you like to share the mission you're making?  Smiley

Alas, I could not get the tanks to follow the road or maintain column. I'll figure it out some day : )

I do have a scenario that has four to five waves of Soviet tanks advancing on a ridge held by a much smaller group of Tigers, Jadgers, and Stugs, with minimal reinforcement. I think there are sixty or so T-34's, KV-1's and 2's attacking. Tests long range gunnery on moving targets.

I'm new at this, so I do not know what files need to be uploaded...

By the way, I have been using Game Booster 3 to enhance gameplay due to the high number of tanks involved, and it really does help.

For basic mission files, you only need to compress them into datapack format (using the 'Pack' option in the Editor).
