i've downloaded the updates from GG,unpacked to desktop, found the updater in game, found the "desc.addpack" file, but cant get it to show in updater.  what am i doing wrong, or more to the point, how do you update the game, please, anyone...help. Sad Shocked Huh?

Did you run the updater as the administrator?

unpacked to desktop - seems to be wrong at all.
P.S. First please install game core update 5.80.

It's a real chore to get this game up and running properly,but well worth the effort for a very exceptional tactical gaming expereince.Next chore is figuring out how to use all the controls properly Grin
