hi i read a thread somewhere where it is possible to dismount infantry from recce vehicles,and armoured personnel carriers, and control them seperately,very handy in deeply wooded terrain or marshy ground.  etc can anybody tell me how to do this? thx.

It's not easy and you have to assign them a hot key number,but it seems to work.
I would like for the Infantry and APC to have their own seperate UI button so I wouldn't have to go thru the hassle of seperating and assigning a new ID.

Select recce and infantryl, Right-click at any platoon icon (on fast selection panel), leave checked only infantry flag, click Apply filter!

And then use a Ctrl+any numeric key (0-9) to group it for future fast selection.

Yes of course, APOS and SABOW has the same tactical command interface in the map mode.
