It says March2013 patch req'd.  Can this be the beta or is the final out/due?  (It's not on the graviteam page yet.)

http://www.gamersgate.com/DLC-APOSGTHRTP1/graviteam-tactics-operation-star-dlc-high-resolution-textures-pack-1

It's at Gamersgate for USD $7.00

I'm going to pass on this one,the changes aren't significant enough to warrant the purchase.

The graphics for the tanks already look good, well above the graphics for vehicles in Combat Mission. If the tanks had looked like the ones in Combat Mission and Graviteam offererd this Hi res DLC,I would have bought it immediately. But as it stands I really can't see much of a change difference unless I zoom in very close.

Besides that I'm more in to the soldier graphics.I think the German helmets and heads could use more work like what Night Postman did with them and also think the boots and weapons could use a more wear and tear look(weapons look brand new and are too shiney like they were just unpacked and the grease is still on them).
The SS jackets for winter and Summer don't look right either.

I would gladly pay for a new uniform Hi res mod/DLC that added different seasonal camo schemes or a Vehicle  Hi res. mod/DLC that offered different seasonal camo schemes also.

Just not enough in it for me either.
As most people here seem to be saying, it needed just abit more content for your cash!

Would it be possible to "swap" the APK43 German Sokolovo mission over to APOS, sorry GTOS and incorparate the HiRes pack into that?
I mean the DLC has already been done, right?
The map and units are already available in GTOS, and the mission write up in APK43. How much more would it take, i dont know?

If youre after a fund raiser, id buy that!

Andrey,

If you've sold alot then it doesn't matter..however if you haven't I really think £7 is asking too much and if you lowered the price I'm sure it would start to sell. I have a feeling others here will agree with me. the graphics are that good anyway the difference isn't enough to warrant the price tag.

The free patches offer far more gameplay wise than this DLC. I suppose as a goodwill gesture for the free patches we should pay out. So when I get some spare money i will buy it..but not for the Hi res textures more because of the excellent patches.

No, I'm asking you - please no good will gestures!  Roll Eyes
We are planning a variety of special DLCs that everyone can choose what you need.
Do not buy what you do not need!

Andrey,

The March patch is necessary for the new DLC...

When are you going to release the official final March patch ?

P.S. Too late for me... My good will gesture has already been done Smiley

Flying turrets DLC? Better explosions DLC?  I'd hit it (with money).

I will not promise in advance, and it's a bad omen  Grin. As will be tested and ready - just say.

"i want a "direct vehicle control" dlc   "

Please do not be fantasy - different DLCs does not mean just do absolutely strange things  Grin

Additional features, like I said before, we distributed and likely will distribute through _free patches_. In the DLCs will only be _content_.

DVC or FT or even BE (Better Explosions - it was already in the previous patch), if we hypothetically  Grin assume that they appeared - will be in patch.

So that's the reason for all  the secrecy and lack of info on new projects "Superstition".
 Grin

OK,I guess I'll wait for the Gala unveiling event once the projects are completed and ready then.
