I downloaded the latest DLC a few weeks back and found the FPS so poor with fog etc... that I have decided to
get an entire new system for gaming...

I plan to get the Nvidia GTX-780 as well as possibly an IPS 27" 2560x1440 monitor...

Has anyone had issues with the game on the higher res monitors...Huh?

Cheers.

I had it running at 2560x1440 on my old 23" monitor and it ran around 30 fps with graphics cranked right up. You might have to turn down the grass detail a little bit to maintain frames.

This is with an i7-920@4Ghz with a 660 Ti card.

I now have a 25" monitor and run the game at 1920x1080.

Not sure to go for the 2560x1440p or the 1920x1080...... price is obviously part of the equation there...

Ive been keen on the ASUS MX279H, which is an IPS monitor although it only has a 1920x1080 display on its 27" screen...

Xambrium...what model Samsung do you have...?

Cheers.
