Am I missing something?

Hi All,

As stated before I'm returning to the game.  Downloaded the latest 5.81, Ok fine.  Bought Op Hooper and Shield of the Prophet, fine, got them on the updater,  then enabled.  Prophet appears in the campaign section, Hooper does not, but on running the game it always crashes!!  As does every other scenario,

Any ideas, have searched the forums etc can't find any reason.  What am I missing please?

Thanks Andrey,

After following the instructions exactly.  Downloaded the dlc in the correct order as shown. Fully up to date base game.

On saving and playing Prophet, the whole game crashed with a 001 critical error can't even get back into the base game.  Fed up and totally put off.

Even tried re-installing, same error.

PS. Here's my install order and a few notes



From top to bottom:

1. Optional 3rd party mod must go above GT DLCs and Patch,. At the moment this version must be disabled for campaigns else it will error as it is not 100% compat with the latest patch, fine to enable it for quick battles.
2. Optional 3rd party mod must go above GT patches and DLCs
3. Optional 3rd party mod must go above GT patches and DLCS
4. Optional, must go above game update patch and GT DLCs if you have it.
5. Latest game update patch, must go below the High Res textures (if you have it) and above DLCs
6  Optional 3rd party mod  from Sukhoi Russian forum (not official DLC)
7. Optional 3rd party Mod from Sukhoi Russian forum (not official DLC)
8 - 14 Official DLCS, newest at the top
15 optional GT official map (polygons) update

Does an ma_prophetXX(XX=equals year of battle.  I don't know it.) and a ma_hooper88 folder appear in the Achtung Panzer/data/k43t directory?

If so is there a desc.addpack file inside both of those folders?

ma_hooper88 folder and ma_gerat79 folder and there's a desc.addpack file in both of these folders in my install

Ok so it's called gerat not prophet.  I don't have prophet so I didn't know.  My post was addressing hamrock's problem.  I just wanted hamrock to check that he had those folders and a desc.addpack in each of them.  That should mean that they were correctly installed into the game folder.

I wasn't criticising you mate!, just trying to help with the folder names and confirming that on my install both folders had the desc.addpack file in them.

No, I didn't take it as criticism.     I just wanted to clarify I was answering hamrock's problem.  And I was thinking out loud that now I know what the prophet file is named.  That's the problem with forum postings...no facial expressions and tone of voice to fill in the context.

Yes except for Blau everything looks up to date.
There is also a new campaign by I-gor called Cuito Cuanavale for the Hooper DLC.

Thank you one and all, I have followed your advice and success, firing on all cylinders.  I'm impressed by what a responsive forum this in, I'm very grateful. 

Just a quick cheeky question, anybody recommend a uniform mod?

@ hamrock Very pleased you got it sorted, this forum is great, lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here. The best (and only AFAIK) uniform mod is the one at the top of my screenshot. Nightpostman's stuff is great, a lot of attention to detail and historical accuracy and hey look very nice too . I will try and dig out a download link for you later but if you goto the Latest news thread on this forum, click on the first link to the Sukhoi forum and then look for Nighpostman's thread you will find a link in there. Be aware that he released it before the latest game update (patch) came out so it will only work with quick battles at present and not with campaigns and it is for German and Russian WW2 uniforms.
