Author Topic: Trouble Shooting Help Needed  (Read 18916 times)

Howzit all. Im running Win Xp and ive installed a fresh copy of the game. I then applied the following Mod in the following sequence:

1. Unofficial Patch SF 0.1
2. Update September 2013 (NTA)
3. Sound Mod (NTA) 1.0
4. Missions Pack 1.1(Optional)
5. Missions Pack 2.1(Optional)
6. SPM (NTA) 1.7.1 alpha (Fix 0.4 Included)
7. Mission_Pack_3.3b
8. Update November 2013 (NTA)

And everytime i enter the game, the custom missions and campaigns dont show. Only the default stuff. Any help will be greatly appreciated. And then, when i want to play with specific weather, when do i activate it?

In between 7 and 8 I have English patch for upd_Sep_2013.  That changed Cyrillic to English for me.

So to be clear, you can't see Missions Pack 1.1, 2.1, or 3.3 in the Missions and Campaigns menu in game, is that correct?

When you activate the mods using JSGME, take pains to avoid the 'double folder' error. Some details here:

It might also be helpful to check whether your MODS subfolder is located in the game's main folder. All the installed mods should be in there, in their respective folders.

Enabling mods through the JSGME is not always a sure thing.Sometimes the mods will not appear in your game menu because something was not properly registered into your game .It has happned several times in the past.

One trick to try first:

1)Disenable and re-enable each mod in the JSGME

If that does not solve your problem then open your game main data folder and go to:

D:\Steel Fury - NTA 1.7 test Nov 2013 update\data\k42\loc_rus\levels\LEVELS\camp

1)In the long list of folders you should see one called cm_pack_mission30.Inside are the levels files.Open that folder to make sure all 31 files are in there. If you don't see that folder thne this exp[lains why the mission pack does not appear in yoru game menu.You can manually copy that folder from the mission pack folder itself into your game folder.


2) Open the camp folder inside you'll find a ENCFG folder called: mission_pack_30. Open it up with notepad to make sure thta all 31 missions in the pack are listed.

3) in that same camp fodler you'll fidn oen called camp_list.Open it with notepad and you should normally see three entries like below:

//SPM1.5 NTA1.3_mission_pack compiled lockie
   camp\spm15nta13_camp.engcfg, mission_pack,   txt_cm_camp_SPM15_NTA13,   false, img_user5;
//Mission_pack_2.0 compiled lockie
   camp\mission_pack_20.engcfg, mission_pack20,   txt_mission_pack_20,    false, img_user6;   
//Mission_pack_3.0 compiled lockie
   camp\mission_pack_30.engcfg, mission_pack30,   txt_mission_pack_30,    false, img_user9;      
}

If you don't have that again that would explain why your MP does not pop up in your game menu.

Hi Tanker.

I added the English patch for upd_Sep_2013 like you said and Kyth, i did what you said and found some double folders. After correcting everything, im happily playing. Thanx guys.

And which tanks have you guys still got to design their interior for? I just want to make sure that when i play its normal if theres isnt anything there, like when i played with the Panther Ausf. G, there was no interior.

It's easier to list the tanks which do have their interiors done:

Stock Game:
- Matilda
- T-34/76
- Pz IVF2 & Pz IVF1

Donken added in some interiors for various vehicles:
- Tiger 1
- Jagtiger
- Jagdpanzer IV
- SU76

I added in a couple of interiors:
- Panzer IIIJ (lg and kz)
- KV-1 (the original stock KV-1).

There are a few more:
- SU-100
- T-34/57
- open-top vehicles like the Marders and halftracks.

That's all, I think, for now.

It's advisable to activate only one of these at any one time, last in the sequence. That way, you'll have no problem to deactivate them. (For example if you want to switch back from winter to summer).

By the way, is the Stug fix, Gunsigh fix, plane fix, hetzer ammo fix all incorporated into the download mods contained in my JSGME?

It pays to read the Read Me text document that comes with every mod you enable.Open the mod folder and you 'll see 2 sub folders one called data and the other doc or read me.... Wink

"English_patch_for_Upd_Sept_2013(NTA)" should NOT be necessary if you are using "Update November 2013 (NTA)".

Please, try disenabling "English_patch_for_Upd_Sept_2013(NTA)".

Hi Frinik & Lockie.

Thanx for the intel guys. Ive been having such a wonderful time playing the game again with all these extra missions and such. What a pleasure it really is. Thank you to all for the mods and updates.

Is anyone planning to create the interior for the Panther A, D & G. If so, let me know and ill do my best to get as much interior photos as needed.
