Cool!

Also I had a look at Graviteam's original armor maps and they had them set up with the proper cut-out shapes only much much thicker so the soft gradient around the edge was actually thinner than the main mass (but still way thicker than the new 5mm).

Hey lockie got an update,

3 more tree armor maps were wrong so I fixed them up the same way.  Palm tree, culture and fir all had armor where there was no tree.

Got it! There is one nuance. Depends on the weather mod(summer, autumn, winter etc.) the armor map subject to be changed. As I've understood all new flora armors designed for the summer. If u still interesting, would be nice, if u make armors for the other weather mods. But it's not so urgent.

Ok here's some from the weather mods I've got:
These are the flora that were different shapes than the default that I found, they're in folders named after their weather mod.

http://www.4shared.com/zip/VWlHYuChce/weather_armor.html

Also the Winter mod has a skin for the Kv-2 that's organised completely wrong, but I don't have the skills to fix that.

Also I've been doing some testing on the RoF of some auto guns to see how they play with more realistic settings.

Mg34: currently fires at 1200 rpm tried lowering but the sound file loops wrong so put it back.

These ones work fine, most were firing faster than real life if you're worried about ammo waste:

TNSH20,%FL_AUTOLOAD%,%WEAP_RBARRET%,82.4,20,1,0.1,0.025,0.05,58,0.075,5,1,0.3,0,shot_tnsh,reload2,chreload1,drop1,8,txt_gun_tnsh20,gun_shot_pat,,TNSH20;

VYA23,%FL_AUTOLOAD%,%WEAP_RBARRET%,82.4,23,1,0.01,0.05,0.05,150,0.1,5,1,.3,0,shot_vya23,reload2,chreload1,drop1,8,txt_gun_vya23,,,VYA23;

BESA,%FL_AUTOLOAD%,%WEAP_MGUN%,40,7.92,1,0.25,0.025,0.05,225,0.075,5,1,1,0,shot_besa,,reloadbesa,drop1,12,txt_mgun_besa,mgun_shot_pat,,BUL_792;

DT,%FL_AUTOLOAD%,%WEAP_MGUN%,40,7.62,1,0.25,0.01,0.09,63,0.1,5,1,1,0,shot_dt,reloadmg42,chreload1,drop1,12,txt_mgun_dt,mgun_shot_pat,,BUL_762;

MG37(t),%FL_AUTOLOAD%,%WEAP_MGUN%,40,7.92,1,0.025,0.025,0.05,100,0.075,5,1,1,0,shot_besa,reloadbesa,reloadbesa,drop1,12,txt_mgun_mg37(t),mgun_shot_pat,,BUL_792;

Haven't tested the MG42 yet but I put it up to 1500 RPM to separate it from the 34.

MG42,%FL_AUTOLOAD%,%WEAP_MGUN%,40,7.92,1,0.25,0.01,0.03,200,0.04,5,1,1,0,shot_mg42t,reloadmg42,chreload1,drop1,12,txt_mgun_mg42,mgun_shot_pat,,BUL_792;

Also I added 5g of explosive to the 20mm on the T-60 because you can't have mixed ammo belts and they historically mixed AP with HE so now all the shots have a little bit of HE.
Same for the 23mm on the Il-2 but 7g added.

It's quite enough. I'll re-upload weather mods. Thanks!

I also made this thing:

http://www.4shared.com/zip/7sZpCJ2Xba/WinterPlusNosnow.html

It's a mod you install after you install the Winter weather and then the No snow weather on top, that changes some particle effects and tracks back to ones that suit no snow.

It's a bit complicate to understand what do u mean without screenshots. Can u enclose pictures with explanations?
And is it possible to make ice instead water?

It only changes 2 things, tracks on the ground behind vehicles back to brown instead of snow color.

And the little bits that fly out of the moving vehicle's wheels from snow color back to brown.

What do you mean by ice?
Ice you can drive on, I doubt it can be done.
Water with ice bits floating on it texture, maybe.

OK, got it.

Ice as a kind of ground. I.e. instead water I may place "ice-ground" or may be it's possible to change parameters of the water to become as ground? This is just for the "winter mod".

I guess so if  it's possible to make new terrain types, you'd need.

Ice texture,
Ice normal map from the texture,
Set the parameters for the new terrain in the matlib and wherever the friction settings are,
Raise the terrain hight on the polygon along the river so it covers the water level.
Paint the new ice terrain along the river.
