This is a mission for the tne new tank T-35a. Take your chance to have a fight with ability of this MONSTER! I like it!
My personal BIG THANKS to Mishel_new for his excellent work! The dreams becomes true Smiley

Download.
Weight: ~36Mb

Features:
- mission was made at the base as “install-play-uninstall”, because I had to fix some parameters of the SPM 1.5;
- mission created on the base of polygon w01_stanovoe (eng. version SF);
- tank T-35a was included;
- gunsight reticle of the 45mm gun was fixed according to the AP shells range;
- fix for the VW-82(Kubelwagen) was included;
- fix for the MG-34 was included.

Disadvantages:
- absence of the prepared position (trenches) for the defended troops;
- there is no calculation for the polygon lighting;
- citations were not translated from the russian.

Notes:
I recommend to play with a balance "5or6", cause the mission becomes much stronger according to the level higher.

Installation (by JSGME.exe):
1. SPM 1.5+fix.
2. Mission-mode "T35_in_attack_v1.1e".
3. Add the line into the file … Kharkov 1942\data\k42\loc_rus\levels\levels\camp\user_camp.engcfg:

T-35_in_attack, txt_misn_T-35A, 1, 0, t-35a.jpg, txt_cit_t35, 5, txt_hist_t35, hist_map_teach, levels\levels\cm_users\T-35_in_attack.level;

4. Start the game, user mission “T-35 In Attack!”.

Credits:
- SPM 1.5 team, egorOgr (PT-1 gunsight source), stone2009 (fix VW-82), Kyth (fix MG-34), Mister I (test);
- special thanks to Mishel_new (tank T-35a).

Have a fun!

No need. I've already noted it in readme, as  a feature.
Features:
- tank T-35a was included;

BTW
You also have a possibility to play vs T-28. You've to do a simple correction in editor or do it manually. File:
\Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942\data\k42\loc_rus\levels\LEVELS\SCRIPTS\cm_users\T-35_in_attack_scripts.engscr
Open it and change the line:
user_human(){usr_tnk_plat_01:AAA, wp_driver, 1;}
on
user_human(){sov_tnk_plat_02:AA, wp_driver, 1;}

Nope, just a motley crew of Panzer II, III and 38t moping around... until the dinosaurs roll over them  Shocked

It might be a bit more challenging from the other side, though,

Thanks, lockie!

This is VERY good to see: totally new mod tanks and scenarios that follow from them. It's a sign that this title is a healthy one, despite all the other factors surrounding its near "stillbirth" when it was released over a year or so ago.

I'm awaiting building a new, more modern PC before I can truly dive into this title, but I'm trying to keep up with all the files and add-on scenarios in the mean time. Can't wait until I can truly take the plunge... because, I can already see that I'd like to try my hand at expanding the Desert mod with some Italian and British/US tanks the player can drive through battles at Tobruk, Beda Fomm, El Alamein and elsewhere!

Stig Steel Fury has been around for 3 years. We can be very grateful and indebted to both the team of Russian modders and Graviteam who kept this great sim alive with new mods, tanks and Graviteam continuing support! Graviteam makes great sims and I , for one, will definitely purchase their next ones... Smiley

Contrast that with TvsT which has been dumped and reneged by its creators and is being kept alive only through the one-man efforts of ZeeWolf on the SP side and Monks and others on the MP side.

І tried Smiley
At first, I wanted to include Marder II (131, 132) also. On the level "9" Sd.Kfz 132 would replace PanzerJager, but it would rise up the total mission weight. Anyway, if it interesting I could add the new models as well.

Hi Lockie,

As promised, I tried out your mission at difficulty level 5 and it was most enjoyable. It is a walk-in-the-park!  (Jurassic Park from the POV of the dinosaurs Grin )

If I may make a suggestion, it's to make it tougher (more enjoyable) by giving the Germans more AT and infantry; level 5 seems to me the more like level 2 or 3  Smiley

U may try at level "3" and it'll be very easy, but starting from "6" it's getting harder. "10" - mission impossible Smiley Check it out. There are quite enough german AT artillery.
All levels from "3" to "10" are different. Actually, I could not finish the mission at level "7". Level "6" is optimal as my point to have a look vs this dinosaur Smiley

It doesn't look like so much as a dino as a pressure cooker( looks like a presto°, look slike one and feels like one.Plus contrary to legend most meat_eating dinos were actually very fast runners... Wink

Anyway played that mission at balance 10 and as reported it's mission impossible because the balance of forces is skewed too much in the Germans' favour. Simply edited the mission ; added 2 T28, replaced the crappy B64s and T38 by 2 T34/76, the Trophy Stug III D by a KV1( what is a trophy stug doing in a July 1941 mission anyway?The Soviets were too busy saving their skins to have time to capture stugs Huh?°.Played it again at balance ane near success was about to take the Fascists HQ when a criminal fascist hooligan in a Stug probably manufactured by enslaved, oppressed German proletarians managed to killed me and my crew and fellow T35 despite the fact that I have been a loyal card-carrying party member for 15 years with 2 Red banner awards to my credit for twice fulfilling the 5-year plans!!! Huh? Huh?

Dastardly fascists! Sad

Anyway I died my heart filled with love for our beloved Socialist Motherland and especially inspired by Comrade Stalin's glorious leadership and undying love and devoition for the World's oppressed and downtrodden proletariat! Smerch Gitleru! Angry

Humour aside many thanks and kudos to Mishel_new for this mission and especially for the new tank that we now have in our arsenal Smiley this guy sure does a great job!

Hi frinik.
Great speech!  Grin
U may see one T-34-76 at level "1-4". This tank is more powered to compare vs german. That's why I didn't include it in the mission at high levels. As for trophy technique, there were some in the soviet troops. U may read the memoirs of brigade commissar Popel. He captured a several Pz III in July 41.
 And now the child of the year, the master of disaster, the king of the universe  - Stug III captured by the soviet unions!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Well I learn new things every day! Thqnks Lockie, I ll put the Shtuggi back into the game.BTW I switched to the T28 instead of the T35 as players tank.A much better and faster tank in my opinion.Why is the gunsight of the T35 a so huge???

Speaking of Trohy tanks I am puzzled that the modders did not include the Panther and Panzer III  since the Soviets captured quite a few during the German retreat of late 1943 onwards....The Tiger I on the other hand they did captured but as afra as I know never used in battle as they were breakdown prone and too high maintenance for the average Ivan.THe Panther on the other was well liked by the Soviet crews and given asa reward.On the German side only the T34/76 is available whereas the Germans captured KV1s and 2s ( and T70s) and even some T34/85 and JS2s...Huh??

This is a first release. In a future I've a plan to produce a new mission "Firing ground 2: T-35" where I'll pay attention to all aspects of the T-35 gunsights. Of course, vs er help Wink

Well, from the very beginning it was a separate mod "TROPHY"  by SHUN, which was included into SPM1.4 further and SPM1.5 respectively. SHUN didn't develop his mode. That's why it's unchangeable now, in spite of Panthers and other technique appearing.

ps
T-70 and SU-76 are waiting Wink

  Ahh good news about the SU76! What about the KV85?Any hope? The Jagdpanzer IV ( either version)? The Panzer IV late versions either G, H, or J? The Stug IV or StuH42? Any hope in the future?

There 's problem with the mass of the tanks in the game.The moment a tank rolls or dsits on a broken tree branch it starts rocking or swaying .The tanks are also too prone to flipping over , one notriosu example is the Hetzer which so light or front-heavy that when it brakes it rears up like a bronco(wild horse). I havet taken to increase the weight of some tanks to reduce that problem but I suspect it's the centre of gravity which may cause the problem.

 Cheers

I have downloaded and installed the 3 Zalesse missions( mis_rk, mis_rk2, mis_ger1) which were on the Sukhoi/Avia forum.TI installed them well they appaer in mu user made mission menu and I also installed the Zalesse datapack map into my ME.I copied the required line in to the user_camp folder.But I can't play them as they crash with the white screen 001.I suspect I am missiing somthing and probably related to the Zlaesse map.My problem is that read me text that comes with the download is not legible as you can see below.Do you have these missions?Is there something I need to do that I missed because of the poor text below?

Hi Frinik,

You need to convert the text from ANSI to Unicode.

Even then you'd still have a problem, unless you can read Russian  Smiley

I would recommend "Google translate" once you get it converted to Unicode,

By the way, did you Generate the map after unpacking the datapack?

I have downloaded and installed the 3 Zalesse missions
To play the missions by девиатор, u've to do:
1. Unpack all three missions (mis_ger1.datapack, mis_rk2.datapack, mis_rk.datapack).
2. Generate the polygon Zalesse_poly.datapack. After there should be a new file:
Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942\data\k42\loc_rus\envs\Zalesse_poly\Zalesse_poly.polypack
3. Make a copy mis_rk_hist.text; mis_rk2_hist.text; mis_ger1_hist.text to the folder:
Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942\data\k42\loc_rus\text
4. In the file user_camp.engcfg make a change the next lines. (It's optional, imho)
mis_rk, mis_rk, 1, 0, back_t01.tga, txt_cit_01, 30, txt_hist_intro, hist_map_teach, levels\levels\cm_users\mis_rk.level;
on
mis_rk, mis_rk, 1, 0, back_t01.tga, txt_cit_01, 30, txt_ldm_mis_rk_hist_intro, hist_map_teach, levels\levels\cm_users\mis_rk.level;

mis_rk2, mis_rk2, 1, 0, back_t01.tga, txt_cit_01, 30, txt_hist_intro, hist_map_teach, levels\levels\cm_users\mis_rk2.level;
on
mis_rk2, mis_rk2, 1, 0, back_t01.tga, txt_cit_01, 30, txt_ldm_mis_rk2_hist_intro, hist_map_teach, levels\levels\cm_users\mis_rk2.level;

mis_ger1, mis_ger1, 1, 0, back_t01.tga, txt_cit_01, 30, txt_hist_intro, hist_map_teach, levels\levels\cm_users\mis_ger1.level;
on
mis_ger1, mis_ger1, 1, 0, back_t01.tga, txt_cit_01, 30, txt_ldm_mis_ger1_hist_intro, hist_map_teach, levels\levels\cm_users\mis_ger1.level;

5. Optional. Make a light calculation for polygon.
6. Play the missions, section "user".
There're three missions:
- T34-85 (defend the village)
- T34-76 (? I didn't play)
- Pz V Panther (capture the village)

ps
Balance setup doesn't make any difference.
