Hi,

Since I had fun taking the Russian language demo for a test drive I have a new machine which runs Windows 7....  The English language demo would not install on my new system....
So... does the full game run on Windows 7 ?
If yes... then I will buy it...
Thanks for your help
All the best,
Kip.

I have win 7 prem 64. The full game runs fine for me. Flawless actually.

I did have a query regarding saving games under different profiles in another thread. But just make sure you run as admin which goes without saying.

Hi,

I bought Achtung Panzer but unfortunately it will not run for the same reasons the English Demo would not.... I get two error reports in a row saying files are missing from my system....
d3dx9_41.dll and X3DAudio1_6.dll
Windows 7
All the best,
Kip.

Hi,

Ok after downloading the two missing files and placing them in the Achtung Panzer directory the game ran fine... with the exception that sound does not seem to work...
Very odd.....
Am using latest version of Windows 7
All the best,
Kip.

All those files are related to direct X.  Go to the following link and install the latest dx web installer, and then reinstall direct X.  That will take care of it

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&DisplayLang=en

Also if you downloaded generic DLL files from a DLL site I recommend you delete those too before the directX install. (3rd party DLL files can be bad and should be avoided)

Runs perfect on my Windows 7 64bit.

i7 Overclocked to 4Ghz GTX285

When I first moved to windows 7 AP Kharkov wouldn't run but that turned out to be because windows 7 hadn't installed correctly.....my new motherboard didn't like IDE disc drives!
