Yes Kyth there's bug with the Mmarder III and Elefant as well.Stone 2009 came up with a fix on the Sukhoi Avia forum.Ill have to look for it.

Elefant bug ? NOPE I have played several missions with it and works perfect. In fact it's one of my favourite tanks of the late war. It's a real beast with good armor and better cannon.

But the T-35 addon fuck the elefant tank, don't use the T-35 mission addon and it will work.

I can make a file that adds the T-35 and the marder 131 and  the marder 132 that were in separate downloads. It will add those tanks to SP 1.5 and EVERYTHING will work (i've tested all). But i need permission from the authors to upload it.

SDKFZ 131:

Well... i think everybody has installed the SP 1.5 fix. The elefant works well with that patch (but a warning for the newbies: Don't install the t-35 mission pack or the elefant will not work)

I will try to contact the authors and i will try to upload a file that will add the T-35 and the marder sdkfz 131 and the marder sdkfz 132 without messing with other tanks. Everything works (tested)

And I'd add a warning not only for the newbies: find a time to read carefully "readme".
- mission was made at the base as “install-play-uninstall”, because I had to fix some parameters of the SPM 1.5;

Yes, I'd agree, compatibility is not really a problem if the mission is enabled / disabled through JSGME,

I'm splitting this into a separate topic,

I took the data necessary for matlib.engcfg, common_units.engcfg and common_res.engcfg related to the T-35 from this file:

http://www.sukhoi.ru/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=127086&d=1297847165

This one for sdkfz 132 marder II:

http://www.sukhoi.ru/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=124020&d=1293538249

and this one for sdkfz 131 marder II (don't be fooled for the name, the two marders II are totally different, as you can see in the screenshots above):

http://www.sukhoi.ru/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=127774&d=1298568024

Mishel_new from www.sukhoi.ru made all the models.

Please Kyth...  since you are a member of the russian forum.... can you ask him if i'm allowed to make a pack with the three models Huh? I will provide an updated matlib.engcfg, common_units.engcfg and common_res.engcfg for an easy installation into SP 1.5 of the new tanks.

None of the data will mess with SP 1.5 and all the tanks will be playables after the installation (even the elefant)

lockie, the matlib.engcfg that you provided with the T-35 mission was about 130 Kb, the one i made is 90 kb... and it had all the information of SP 1.5 and the new information of the new tanks. As kyth said before, i think the matlib.cfg file that you provided is full of unnecessary data (planes???). Some of that data is messing with some of the tanks from SP 1.5 (at least the elefant).

I don't want any credit (all the credit goes to Mishel_new) but i know that there are people who will like to play with the new tanks and probably they don't know how to add those tanks to the game. If Mishel_new allow me to upload the packed file with the 3 tanks (19 MB) i will do it for the people of this forum (i already have it for my personal use)

You might want to ask directly, I think, that's the best way,

An important point to note about all mods & missions, they're installed 'at your own risk',
That's why it's useful to have JSGME to undo anything that goes wrong. Either that, or have a separate / multiple install,

Well, yes. U're right, but I'm not ain't to do the changes as for SPM1.5, that's why I suggested my mission as a "mission-mode", means - "install-play-uninstall".
To say the true, there's already done mission for SU-100, but I don't have any permissions to do vs my wishes. it's a word of respect.

I didn't changed anything from the matlib.engcfg file of SP 1.5
I just added the data for the new 3 tanks.
Same for common_units.engcfg and common_res.engcfg

In the matlib.engcfg file included in the file that you provided there is a lot of unnecessary data. I don't know what is all that data but it's useless with the current installation of SP 1.5 and it's messing with some tanks.

As i said before, i don't want any credit, i just want to make the things more easy for the newbies. I have been modding games for years but there are people that doesn't know how to edit a file (they don't know how to edit a file or how to use notepad for example). I think all that people will be missing the new tanks and they are very cool.

Yes, i know. It's a matter to take a standard. For example, thanks to Kyth(fix MG-34), we've a possibility to use this machine-gun properly, but it wasn't an original SPM1.5 fix. What I mean, SF should be developed accordingly to the necessity of community, but if u make an original update to the game, it'll be a new one mode, which will be er original work. I don't know when the final SPM1.5 mode will be released.

That's a mistery... SP 1.5 final version was supposed to be out in July 2010 !!!???

Oh... and the files i have linked in the first post are public files in the russian forum. I just joined all the files and make a packed file for an easy installation (with the updated config files). Newbies won't need to edit any file of the original SP 1.5. Just unzip (or enable with mod enabler) and play with the new tanks.

I suspect that they won't release an Alpha version of 1.5 until they have made missions or mini campaigns for all the new models that have been introduced. It's a lot of work . My hunch is by late May or early summer. I know that they are also working on separate mini campaigns like Kursk and tey may want to finish them in order to include them in a final release.

You could always use google translate, and if that doesnt work, my uncle is fluent in Russian.

I was running into trouble when I was trying to use them though; how do I enable the Marders? like do I go through JGSME? or do I manually overwrite the file?

I may help u vs translation to russian. What u'd like to ask?
Actually, I don't see any problems to create a new mode, let say "Graviteam_SF 1.0" and include all necessary models and fixes.

All the files i have used are public in the russian forum and Mishel_new is the author.

He made 3 tanks that are not included in SP 1.5: T-35, Sdkfz 131 and Sdkfz 132.
The files in the russian forum had instructions about the data changes that are needed in the config files of SP 1.5 to enable the 3 tanks.
I added the data to the files matlib.engcfg, common_res.engcfg and common_units.engcfg.

Here is the file:

http://www.mediafire.com/?3f21x19exvtlreb

To install:

1) Unzip in your SP 1.5 folder and overwrite the old cfg files (no problems, that's the way i do it and i have tested all the tanks, i just added the data of the new tanks )

or

2) Make a folder inside your MODS folder - call it "marder" for example - (Steel Fury/MODS/marder) and unzip this file in the folder you have created. After you haze unzipped the file you can enable it with JGSME.

And that's all. You will find the 3 tanks in the mission editor.

All the credit goes to Mishel_new from the russian forum.

P.D: You can download the T-35 mission that was previously posted here:

http://www.4shared.com/file/oquwhPhk/T35_in_attack_v11e.html

After you have installed the t-35 mission you can install this file with the new tanks and everything will work fine (the new file will fix the errors in the t-35 config files and you will have the new Marder tanks SDKFZ 131 and 132 in the mission editor)
