American Civil war re-enacting is very popular in the United States,other battles from the war of 1812 and the Revolutionary war are re-enacted also but the Civil War is most popular.
I think the producers of the movie Gettysburg hired a lot of these re-enactors to be in the movie because they were very familiar with the tactics,uniforms and period.

A new patch available on GamersGate and our site. Full version now updated on Gamers Gate (to the latest patch), no need August13 patch or core update, it have a new installer.

Okay the new patch changes the version of game update from 4.09 to 4.10 so it is newer than the old august patch which had RC (release candidate) in its filename. My best guess, without release notes, is that it changes things along the lines described by Andrey for Shilovo eg. the things regarding unit size etc. that he outlined in one of his posts. You can get it from the lnik below: http://www.graviteam.com/AP-STAR/gtos_patch_aug13a_eng.gt2extensionRemember to make a note of your game options first so that you can put back any personal preferences.
