I second that.

I remember this model and somehow managed to download it from somewhere very long time ago... Really can't remember where I got it but it was totally worth it. Most probably it was "Panther + hetzer mod"

If It's possible to get Panther G... I'd be grateful.

I believe it was nuked because the makers violated some kind of copyright.

The Panther G MOD has a BUG. Look at this: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3140472/Help_Modify_the_MOD.html#Post3140472

The Panther ausf. G mod is not available for distribution regretfully. I had it when the mod was briefly released as the Hetzer-Panther mod in 2009.Then a problem came and the mod was withdrawn and released only as the Hetzer mod minus the Panther G.The issue was that it was made for the Red Orchestra mod Darkest Hour. Some of the modders who made the model objected to another group( who were also involved in creating the model) releasing it and making it available for SF. They were only supposed to use it privately in SF.Plus the Panther G mod was not compatible with the Tiger I-JS-2 mod in SP 1.4 which created additional problems. The Panther G model in the H-P mod was atrociously slow not to say sluggish but the model was very ncie with a great camo.It had no bugs that I know of.

Yes exactly. That was the point, copyright issues. That's why Panther G model got deleted.

Right on the money frinik, but I also do remember the guys at sukhoi.ru saying something about the model being very substandard to the other vehicle models already in SFK42, not in the aesthetics point of view since it sure looked sweet to me too. But in the hit boxes and such. So it wasn't a problem of what was on the surface, but what was under the hood so to speak. I think someone did ask about reworking the existing model but again from what I took away from the conversation that so much would have to be changed that you basically would be better off starting from scratch.

Yes! The hit boxes has a problem. Artillery fire will kill tanks.

There is no temporarily. But there are some plans want to use a new mod ( For example Pz4 G/H, jagdtiger ) for production missions.

Not to mention the Jagdpanzer Panzer IV L48 or 70, the Kv-85 and hopefully the Panther ausf. A...

Speaking of Jagdpanzer Panzer IV L48 or 70, the Kv-85, Pz4 G/H, jagdtiger... Is there any possibility to get these from somewhere? Or they're not released yet? At least KV85 and/or Pz. IV G/H.

Btw. I was rather more curious than impatient.  Wink

From my side Panther A (early 44 production) will be coming soon enough. Along with KV-85, Panzer 4 H, and fixed 2 tigers - B and early H. Probably with late Tiger H version too but no promises about this one.
I have to say  that A version is not so different from D. Most notable differences are machinegun ball mount, new commander's cupola and zimmerit. Plus a few small parts.

Yes it's true although the A model was more breakdown-prone and was not as reliable as the D and later G models. Are we talking about getting the Tiger I model with the small conning tower version rather than the one with the taller, protruding one which we have in the game?

BTW Mistwalker I compared both versions of the JS-2 that we had in SP 1.4 ( 1943model)and now in Beta 1.5(1944 model) and it looks to me that they are identical, no difference whatsoever???Was it a case of the 1943 model being recycled and simply rechristened 1944 model???

Also the KV-1 e and the Churchill are inordinately strong. It takes upwards of 15 to 25 high calibre shots to kill them!Is it the case that the armour maps need reworking?

Finally one last point or question: The magnification of the SU-100 gunsight issurprisingly high.Is it as per historical data?

Cheers
