For the missions I 've prepared a short video, which demonstrates a power of BT-7. This video had taken from the soviet movie "Tractoristy" (tractor drivers).

http://www.4shared.com/music/SviMvX4y/tank_bt7.html

There are some interesting facts abt BT-7:
- to turn left/right the driver has to apply an effort of 40kg!
- BT-7 can go both: on the wheels or tracks
- the resource of track was 1000km
- max speed along the highway ~80km per hour (BT-7M)
- frontal armor 15mm
- tank was made on the base of american unit by engineer Christie

In fact, this tank was some kind of cavalry - came into the breach of the front and cut out the enemy communications. Of course, it's my unassuming opinion Smiley

^cool video^ ...the power of vodka! too bad all those tractor drivers are now in wheelchairs due to lower spinal injuries incurred for the sake of propaganda Grin  Now I know why boxing head gear looks like Russian tanker helmets.

Played first mission. it's interesting, but I didn't manage to execute a first task. There are triggers "efficiency decreased 5 times". I think that's a problem. U've to completely destroy the whole unit and kill all members of the crew. As my point there should be quite enough "efficiency decreased 1.5 times". It means - unit immobilized and can't execute his personal task and there's no need to search all members all over the map or shot the unit to the death. Of course, it's just only my opinion Smiley

PS
What does "Null" trigger?

PPS
Second mission is more obvious, but still needs more efforts to prove that enemy units destroyed.

I wonder if there're other reviews for these missions?

Any difficulties encountered? Then I'm doing something right,  Grin

BRING BACK MARKERS

« Reply #12 on: December 04, 2013, 11:09:34 PM »

I think these missions are great.  I had a lot of fun with this fast tank.  I found I was often fast enough to run over German antitank guns when I found them hiding in the woods.  That is most satisfying.

Is it possible to make more hard the driving of this tank?
In fact, this tank was a very picky in driving. I mean, if u want to take a right/left, then u've to re-switch to the first(lowest) gear, then make a turn (deviation is abt 30 degrees, coz u've to apply 40kg of efforts!) and then re-switch consequently to the highest gear. And be prepare that during gear re-switching - u'll get a good chance to damage the gearbox.
At this moment both tanks BT-5/7 are extremely very good at the driving. In the reality, they didn't. It was a terrible mess to drive those tanks.

Here's video: test-drive BT-7

See from 5:35
Driver told that he tired very quickly to make a turns and he need to stop to switch the gear and only extremely virtuoso may switch the gear during movement.
