I was thinking that also, but the terrain in the screenshots don't seem to suggest the early Angola campaigns. At least not to me.

Probaably more anlogy... I'm assuiming you meant more Angola, you can put the cap back on the modelers glue,You've had enough I don't mind more Angola, matter of fact the more I read about it lately the more interested I've become in these brush wars. Not just for the battles either, this whole conflict reads like a bad dime store novel with some really inept, corrupt and nefarious key players. From the politicians to the military leaders and the mafia like international corporations that do business in that region. And regardless of who won or lost,it seems that nothing has really changed for that region"meet the new boss, same as the old boss".Africa as far as I can see is going to be a region in turmoil for a very very long time.

He also said they do NOT have any assets....... I took it to mean, they don't have anything for the Ethiopian war. So operations "Savannah" and "Carlota" are still in the running,

Graviteam Tactics: Area 51. Defend your not-so-secret-anymore UFO research facility against pissed off aliens wanting their ships back and paranoid conspiracy theorists. Use the latest alien laser technology!

Ft Irwin is in California and is the national training center for desert warfare.
Area 51 is in Nevada and a secret testing area. Two different places with two different missions.

I can see this game simulating the type of training that goes on at Ft. Irwin. Can't imagine how it would simulate assaulting a base that is mainly underground.

This is an interesting shot from the Russian forums for the other new DLC. Have no idea where it's at,but it could easily pass for some areas of the North African desert.

Maybe,I don't know.But I think it's either Afghanistan or Iraq.
I'm already thinking if I had that map and the proper force mix I could simulate dozens of different battles using the terrain on that map as the battlefield.

Spielberg is making a film about that area and Star Wars keeps being mentioned as hints.
1971 India-Pakistan War sounds cool to me.

I'm really looking forward to the Operation Hooper DLC 8) Had to wade thru a shit load of propaganda sites from both perspectives to find some pertinent information on the battles and war in Angola, but I find it to be a very interesting topic and I think it will be a good game for this series.Had my doubts in the beginning but I think modern company -Batallion battles like those fought in Angola will fit this game engine perfectly
