Good evening!
I have been blathering on about creating new missions for the Panzer 38(t) and so now it's time to put up and/or shut up! Try it out and let me know what you think,Kyth Mission 2_01In this semi-historical scenario, a new offensive has just kicked off in Crimea. Yeah! Good way to end the year! Blow tanks not firecrackers! Always dreamt of visiting yalta... Thanks Kyth! Already installed and played at balance 10!!!! Killed 1At gun, 1MG nest, 10 tanks and was about to get killed by wave of attacking tanks( didn't realsie there would be so many at balance 10 ) , my gunner and driver killed down to my last 4 HE shells when a wingman finally came to my rescue and with the mission about to be victorious it crashed with the 001 screen????Arggggh!Very enjoyable mission Kyth.Going to try again...

The Popguns mod rectifies the standard settings of SPM 1.5, which make the 37mm and 50mm L/42 gun more puny than normal Here's something I wrote about the problem some time back: Let's put it this way: you know they're underpowered when their shells persistently bounce off lightly armoured targets like the T-26, BT-5 and Panzer II I've addressed the situation a little by making the following changes to their ammunition in the 'common_res.engcfg' file: PZGR(t)umg_37,0x01,%SHELL_AP%,KWK38(t)L/42,750,42,0.7,0.1,0,1,1,0,0.82,0.008,0.3,8,1,1,0.1,0,1,1,1,expl_gndl*,expl_techl*,expl_buildl*,expl_water*,expl_human*,fly1,0,1500,1,txt_shell_pzgr(t)_37,ap_expl_pat,rico_pat,piece_pat,0,1,1,1,1,0xffff4040,2,1,14,SHELL_MED,SHELLC_MED;
Upped the 'armour-piercing factor' from 0.55 to 0.7, slightly less than the PZGR_37. Gravity factor changed from 9.81 to 8, consistent with the other shells in the game. Carp ever since I changed the gun settings your mission crashes with 001.I am going to re-install it or may be on another install and enable your Popguns mod instead....

No worries.I just finished installing Rends misisons and played one.Works well but I had to add a //bar_camp entry on top of the recommended line in the camp folder otherwise his missions did not appear in my game menu.Now your mission.I am going to re-install it in a different folder!I almost won it and it's my priority now! Bests for 2012!

Finally managed to re-install yoru mission played it.It took me 2 attempts to succeed( at balance 10).Good atmosphere.The beginning is easy and luyll you into thinking it's going to be a walkover until the Soviet cavalry comes charging.The P38t surprised me.Fairly good tank but a little slow.Anyway, it's good to play smaller tanks like the Panzer III and Panzer1 38t.Makes you appreciate the need for tactics over charging like a horde of elephants.....Well done Panzer III Meister!I'll give it an 8.5/10.

Personally I would vote to keep the Panzer IVF1.Nobody makes misisons for that tank although it was a workhorse of the German army until it's bigger brother the F2 ausf. came along.

I fully agree with frinik. Moreover the Panzer IV F1 has the interior modeled in Steel Fury and I do like to play using also the interior views Txema
